In 1960 the first fibreglass boat to be ever produced in Europe was manufactured by the Fiart Mare shipyard. Our company is beautifully located in the exclusive gulf of Baia. Thanks to its long tradition our company is in a leading position in the European powerboats market and is working its way up in the world market. In the Fiart Mare shipyard every model is built to satisfy the customers needs and desires; for adventure, relax, for meeting people or to be alone or close to nature and to navigate.
With its designer departments, its hangars dedicated to the layering of the hulls, to carpentry, to the engine department, to the assembly and finishing lines and with its extended commercial network, Fiart Mare emphasises on the importance of the product. The constant will to follow the requirements of the pleasure boat owners permits the designers to create elegant and comfortable boats, with finishing and furnishing materials realised with the maximum precision.
The first European boat entirely produced in fibreglass, a little three meters and sixty rowing-boat named Conchita, is born at the end of the fifties at the Fiart Mare shipyard. It was the beginning of a new way of approaching the nautical world, finally not only for the elite any more. This scoop was the start of the present Fiart Mare and influences still today the whole company’s philosophy, eager to discover new solutions.
