THE COURSE
Cantieri di Sarnico has been established in 1992 on the Iseo Lake
areas, cradle of a well renowned tradition in boat business. The
Company’s root dips however in a farther away past, made of experiences
and ancient traditions continued through skilled workers.
The first model, the 55, is launched two years later, only when style
and performance have reached levels worthy of the name that the
shipyard wishes to set for itself as standard. During the years to
come, the wish to offer boats destined to become “celebrities”
continues to grow up. That’s the reason why in 1995 the Sarnico 45
comes out: nowadays still one of the most requested models.
In 1997 there is the launching of the Sarnico 40, later on modified
into 43, and immediately after the Foresti family takes over the
shipyard.
From 1998 with Antonio as Chairman and Luigi as Managing Director,
Cantieri di Sarnico develops in an unceasing way and establishes its
Trade Mark on the International Market.
In 2001 the 65, admiral of the fleet, and the 58 are launched and in
2003 the new shipyard in Capriolo (Brescia), consisting of a roofed
surface of 10.000 sqm, is inaugurated.
At the 2005 Genoa Boat Show there is the launching of the new Sarnico
50, perfect synthesis of tradition and technology, past and future. The
overall production will attain in 2005 almost two hundred twenty units.
THE ESSENCE
Two brothers joined by the passion for boats: that is Cantieri di
Sarnico’s essence. Their passion comes to life in the Tyrrenian waters,
in between the Amalfitana Coast and the Campania archipelago
Some years later, in 1998, Luigi Foresti’s competition spirit compelled
him to frequent sporting competions and to win the Venice-Montecarlo.
In 2004 and 2005 he is again winner at the
Viareggio-Montecarlo-Viareggio raid.
There are passions which become activities, ideas which turn into
reality: this is the shipyard’s heart and Antonio and Luigi Foresti’s
spirits.
THE MISSION
The construction of boats more and more better in quality, comfort,
performances is the target of the shipyard. The unquestionable fittings
elegance goes along accurate assembling techniques which ensure
structure sturdiness and durability. The unmistakable design makes the
production immediately recognizable and joins all models of the range
in their exclusive “family style”.
THE RESEARCH
With the aim to achieve new targets, the shipyard continues to develop
and update project and construction technologies. The use of
computerized moulding system allows to get more performing boats, decks
perfectly symmetrical which join the hulls with accurate precision, for
a better structure sturdiness.
The Research Dept. task is now the noise level reduction, inside and
outside the boat. Recently they have achieved very good results which
allowed to the Sarnico 43, the first of the model tested, to get from
Swiss authorities the permission to cruise the Zurich Lake waters,
where are in force severe limitations and regulations concerning sound
emissions.
THE SECRET
A team enthusiast of its job, aware that they are building exclusive
boats, destined to leave a mark in the recreational boat field, maybe
to create a myth, this is the secret of the growing success and
constant shipyard development. A passionate environment, where the
boats are built with a unique target: the struggle to achieve
perfection and nothing else. Each new model is not simply “another
boat” but a new challenge, always higher. Technicians, employees,
skilled workers commit themselves in achieving it in a never ending
challenge.
