Speed, comfort, grace and high-tech are the most characteristic
features of yachts built by Blohm + Voss. To fulfil the exclusive
requirements of the customers, a qualified and experienced team of
engineers, technicians and specialists has been set up. Their
activities range from the design of the propulsion systems with
especially low noise levels and almost no vibrations to best
workmanship of even the smallest item of the high-grade interior.
As regards engineering, Blohm + Voss combines its vast experience in
the construction of the most famous mega yachts with the synergies of
naval shipbuilding. The latest design methods such as the "virtual
ship" enabling us to "walk/fly through the ship" are employed to the
benefit of our customers.
For production, unique parts are available ensuring an efficient and
precise single source construction, for instance the two large
completely roofed building docks with integrated workshops for short
routes and an excellent weather protection of men and material. Our
laser welding and cutting plant ensures an unparalleled shipbuilding
quality all over the world. All this is a precondition for the
high-quality realization of the designs of international architects for
demanding customers. This is what Blohm + Voss stands for.
This extraordinary yacht was designed by the French architect Hermidas
Atabeyki (Paris) in cooperation with Blohm + Voss. The design is
characterized by various novel ideas of the architect such as the
arrangement of a spacious open loggia, balconies for the guest suites,
a futuristic inside submarine hangar and a helicopter hangar.
