A man who summers in Dartmouth is missing something: his 48-foot yacht.Edward Siegel said he tied the Sea Eagle to its mooring near the Concordia Boat Co. in Padanaram Harbor in June. When he returned a day later, it was gone.The Standard-Times reported that Dartmouth police and the harbormaster are conducting a joint investigation to find out what happened to the yacht. The Sea Eagle could be moving fast. It has a cruising range of 170 nautical miles per day.Police sent fliers with a description of the boat as far away as Canada, Maine, New York City and Bermuda, but they have received no leads.Police said the yacht was locked up tight and didn't slip from its mooring. The yacht is worth between $250,000 and $400,000.
