Olga Berluti, the only female shoemaker in the world, approached the shoe like a work of art.

The development of Venetia leather in the 70s enabled her to master
colour and to obtain a finish with artistic depths and transparencies.
To Olga, the languages of skin are a constant inspiration and
spectacle: “I love the foot under the shoe, the skin under the leather.
I have always wanted to give leather shoes the same marks as skin:
scars, gashes, scratches, piercing, tattoos”. For more than thirty
years, Olga has been creating unique shoes.
